Nice friendly family restaurant. Menu has a large variety to choose from but I always end up getting the perch dinner that comes with 2 sides. It's pan fried with light breading, so delicious! I ordered the regular size but they also have a large size available. We also ordered southwest chicken wrap and onion rings. Restaurant is family friendly and usually see an older crowd dining in here.
My first visit... I am very pleased. Our server was Andrea. She is a Rockstar, however both servers on the floor were attentive and accommodating. I am particular regarding German Potato Salad... I found one!!!! Kicking myself for not visiting sooner !! Hot Beef Sandwich and German Potato Salad... not pictured... delicious side salad... and my Peach Cobbler and ice cream.. in my defense.. I was pre occupied..

A steadfast classic of Bay City for several generations, this sit down family restaurant specializes in seafood. Perch, Walleye, Shrimp, Clam Strips, and Scallops are among the several dinner offerings. To me, the highlight are the German Potatoes. Get a pint or quart to go!! The sweet vinegar flavor is unique and quite memorable. Onion rings and fries are crispy and hearty. Lots of mushrooms on the mush/Swiss burger. Dinner roll was soft and fresh. Slow on a Sunday night, servers are friendly and the food came out lightning fast.
This was a random stop thanks to google maps. We were traveling home and looking for lunch. We did not want your normal fast food joint so I randomly picked a spot. I highly recommend you to do this! We were greeted right away. All the ladies were friendly. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and asked for a recommendation and got two from two different waitresses. I went with the nachos and my husband went with a burger and onion rings. My nachos were loaded with shredded cheese and toppings, very tasty, I couldn’t finish them. My husband said his burger was very good. The onions rings were a good size and were very good also. They have a full bar and plenty of seating, good for families. Would definitely stop back in if we are in the area again.
What a great place to eat breakfast ... our waitress Kristina was absolutely fantastic . She had a beautiful smile and was very pleasant. If you are looking for a place that treats you like family ... this is the place to go ! The food was amazing !!
Great local Family restaurant with long history of fresh delicious food. Visiting for the Midland antique festival. We stayed around the corner and have seen the billboard on I 75 for their Fresh Perch! Boy was it good! You could tell it was freshly caught and freshly prepared with a light coating and seasoning. As good as the fried fish I buy when in the UP! Got with fries and salad. Good stuff. Glad we came by!
Found this awesome little gem of a restaurant, about a half mile off of I75. Staff was friendly, place was very clean and food was homemade, fresh and hot! Adding to our list for future stops , highly recommend!
